Our Annual Harvest Workshop
The congregation at Main Street has been holding a World Missions Workshop since 1995. It began with a desire of the Main Street elders to encourage the church to “go into all the world.” Their goal was to help the church by informing brethren of the many good mission efforts going on world-wide.
Over the years this workshop has been a great blessing, not only for our congregation, but churches, elderships, and missionaries the world over. However, in recent years the elders at Main Street felt the workshop had reached a point where it was time to reevaluate our goals.
With the understanding that the mission field begins within our own communities, the decision was made to change the focus of the workshop to deal with local missions. After a two year break, we are excited to once again host our workshop and announce its new focus. We invite you to join us for a weekend of practical, encouraging, and challenging lessons designed to help us get back to our purpose of seeking the lost. (c.f. Mark 16:15-16; Rom 10:17)
